Dan Gertler is an Israeli billionaire whose business is in diamond and copper mining in the DRC. He plays a very big part within the crisis in the DRC. Boycotting ALL diamonds and copper.
If you have a perfectly good working piece of technology do not buy new technology that have tin, cobalt, gold, tungsten, or tantalum that cannot be proven ethically sourced. Boycott tech companies that do not have concrete proof of how they source their materials.
Pappy Orion has founded an organization called Focus Congo. They are taking volunteers to physically go to the DRC and help hands on. Dangerous, but it is an option for the most courageous.
Donate to organizations that feed, provide medical care, or any human services to the DRC.
Most importantly share and talk about the information about what's happening in the Democratic Republic of Congo with your family, friends, co-workers, even on social media.
